SERVICE:

We can assist with household cleaning if it is included in your National Disability Insurance Scheme Plan, such as:

• Changing linen

• Cleaning the bath or shower

• Hanging out the washing

• Vacuuming

• Washing the floors

• Meal preparation

•  Shopping and more that is agreed to before starting the service

Eligibility:

People with disabilities receiving assistance under the National Disability Insurance Scheme can use this service under support items

Cost:

Fees are paid by the National Disability Insurance Scheme for people with an approved Plan.

Assist Travel and Transport :

Transport supports include personal transport-related aids and equipment, or training to use public transport.

A participant’s transport supports may also include the reasonable and necessary costs of taxis or other private transport options for participants who are not able to travel independently.

Transport supports only relate to participants and do not relate to travel for families, carers or providers of supports.

Service You Can Trust

With our Assist Products for Household Tasks services, patients can feel confident that their health matters will be addressed in a timely manner — without sacrificing their normal daily routines. At Bashir Homecare Services, we care for our patients’ health and wellbeing and provide personalized medical home care attention that will get them feeling better again.

We provide aids and equipment to enable participants to undertake cooking, cleaning, washing, home maintenance and other tasks.

We can also help you with your general cleaning, laundry and gardening. Whatever support you need to get through the week, we are here to help. Large scale spring cleaning home services can also be provided.

We support people who need help from one hour per week to several hours per day, depending on how much help you need with these tasks

Hearing services in the NDIS

If you are a participant in the National Disability Insurance Scheme your NDIS Planner may refer you to the Hearing Services Program to receive certain hearing services and devices until mid-2019.

The program is administered by the Department of Health.  The Department contracts approximately 280 service providers to deliver fully subsidised hearing services and devices to eligible clients.
